ALERT Lymphoedema Practice for the Head and Neck Region 2026

This unit can be completed as a standalone unit or as part of our ALERT Lymphoedema Accreditation Training Program. It includes a mixed-methods approach of lymphoedema education and incorporates online interactive and face-to-face comprehensive practical learning and assessment, integrating case studies, knowledge checks and forum activities. Successful completion of the online learning is a mandatory requirement for attending the face-to-face practical learning and assessment.

This training program is accredited by the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA).  As such, the content is in line with the ALA’s Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner Program Framework (ALPP) and the ALA Competency Standards for Lymphoedema Practitioners.

FOUNDATIONAL UNITS: 

Principles of Lymphoedema Management – up to 75 hours of online learning 

Contemporary Evidence in Lymphoedema Management – up to 75 hours of online learning 

REGIONAL UNITS (choose in line with your scope of practice): 

Lymphoedema Practice for the Head and Neck Region – 29-30 September 2026

(up to 55 hours of online learning and 20 hours of face-to-face learning and assessment)

When we receive the completed registration survey you will be emailed your registration letter and instructions to log into ProLearn so that you can commence your online learning.
