Our ALERT Lymphoedema Accreditation Training Program includes a mixed-methods approach of lymphoedema education incorporating the two mandatory online foundational units and regional unit/s relating to your scope of practice. This training program incorporates online interactive and face-to-face comprehensive practical learning and assessment, incorporating case studies, knowledge checks and forum activities. Successful completion of the online learning is a mandatory requirement for attending the face-to-face practical learning and assessment. 

 

This training program is accredited by the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA).  As such, the content is in line with the ALA’s Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner Program Framework (ALPP) and the ALA Competency Standards for Lymphoedema Practitioners. 

 

FOUNDATIONAL UNITS: 

Principles of Lymphoedema Management – up to 75 hours of online learning 

Contemporary Evidence in Lymphoedema Management – up to 75 hours of online learning 

 

REGIONAL UNITS (choose in line with your scope of practice): 

Lymphoedema Practice for the Upper Limb and Breast – 1-2 December 2026 

(up to 55 hours of online learning and 20 hours of face-to-face learning and assessment) 

Lymphoedema Practice for the Lower Limb and Genital Region – 3-4 December 2026 

(up to 55 hours of online learning and 20 hours of face-to-face learning and assessment) 

 

Please note: Once you have selected and paid either the full amount and/or deposit you will be sent an email with a link to the registration survey. When we receive the completed registration survey you will be emailed your registration letter and instructions to log into ProLearn so that you can commence your online learning.
